Job Description

About the Role

Dallah Healthcare is seeking a Planning Specialist to join their team. This full-time role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare performance data to assess organizational effectiveness and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret healthcare performance data to assess organizational effectiveness.
  • Develop and present regular performance reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and benchmarks to leadership.
  • Identify areas for improvement and provide data-driven recommendations to enhance efficiency, patient care, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and department heads to develop strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Assist in the creation of long-term planning documents, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals.
  • Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of action plans to meet performance targets.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvement initiatives based on performance analysis.
  • Conduct root cause analyses of operational challenges and propose solutions to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Utilize lean methodology, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks to drive organizational changes.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of performance improvement strategies and ensure alignment with healthcare quality metrics.
  • Facilitate performance audits and assist in preparing for external reviews and assessments.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (*, department heads, staff, clinicians) to communicate performance objectives, progress, and results.
  • Provide training and support to teams on performance management tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Serve as a point of contact for performance-related inquiries and provide guidance on achieving goals.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management, performance improvement, or strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated experience in analyzing healthcare data, identifying trends, and implementing performance improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with healthcare accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
