REGISTERED NURSE ONCOLOGY AND HEMATOLOGY

About the Role

Fakeeh Care Group is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Oncology and Hematology to join their team in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, focusing on assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and maintaining medical records. The Registered Nurse will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and ongoing patient health assessments, including physical examinations and vital sign monitoring.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for side effects.
• Provide wound care, including cleaning, dressing, and infection monitoring.
• Assist physicians during medical procedures and diagnostic tests.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Observe and record patient conditions, reporting significant changes to the medical team.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
• Conduct purposeful rounding to meet patient needs and prevent complications.
• Adhere to strict infection control standards and participate in surveillance and reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient items and equipment according to Fakeeh Care policies.
• Follow established protocols for emergencies to ensure patient safety.
• Innovate in patient care and implement evidence-based practices.

Administrative and Supportive Duties

• Maintain accurate and detailed patient care records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for continuous and integrated patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.
• Oversee junior staff and nursing students, providing guidance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Identify and address issues in patient care, contributing to solutions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the nursing manager within the scope of the job.
