The Role of Restaurant Supervisor - Saudi National

EDITION is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor - Saudi National to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction within the restaurant. This full-time role involves overseeing daily operations, staff coordination, and maintaining high standards of service and facility presentation. The supervisor will also support management in various HR functions and uphold company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff teamwork for optimum service and guest needs fulfillment.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning, and securing the premises.
• Monitor storage areas for organization, FIFO adherence, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories and requisition necessary supplies.
• Oversee dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Submit work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies; report incidents and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, foster positive working relationships, support team goals, and address employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and identify opportunities to enhance organizational efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for grasping, turning, and manipulating objects.
• Maneuver through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
