Safety Supervisor

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee and implement EHS policies, procedures, and site safety plans. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, focusing on maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections, safety observations, and workplace risk assessments.
• Identify hazards and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are taken.
• Lead Toolbox Talks, safety inductions, and regular HSE training sessions.
• Monitor compliance with PPE, PTW, LOTO, working at height, lifting, excavation, and confined-space requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and Method Statements.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain and monitor HSE statistics, KPIs, inspection reports, and safety records.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, drills, fire safety, and evacuation procedures.
• Monitor contractors and subcontractors for compliance with project HSE requirements.
• Conduct regular site audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper environmental practices, including waste management, pollution prevention, and spill control.
• Liaise with project management, clients, consultants, and government authorities on HSE matters.
• Stop unsafe work when necessary and ensure hazards are rectified before work resumes.
• Support continuous improvement of the project's HSE culture and performance.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Experience in Saudi/GCC projects is preferred.
