Senior Foreman

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Senior Foreman to oversee and manage site operations. This full-time role involves controlling and following up on overall work progress, ensuring tasks run smoothly throughout the workday, and interacting with site foremen and team members. The Senior Foreman will be responsible for multiple teams of skilled resources, ensuring work execution is safe, timely, and of the highest quality to achieve maximum productivity at minimum cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain acceptable quality of work, minimize reworks, and effectively utilize available resources.
• Monitor and control the latest valid drawings issued for use.
• Coordinate at various levels to carry out activities as built for major elements of work.
• Perform necessary corrective actions on work requiring rework or remedial actions as instructed and directed by the site engineer.
• Ensure that works are achieved based on approved Shop Drawings, method statements, and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) guidelines, and are 100% completed on or before the scheduled accomplishment date.
• Complete site supervision of work, labor, materials, equipment movement, and proper distribution of resources to ensure adherence to project costs and budgets.
• Ensure daily site supervision of related activities and confirm that activity costs do not exceed allocated budgets.
• Ensure assigned works are accomplished within the allotted timeframe, maintaining quality according to Company standards and reducing the reworks percentage to 0%.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and report any identified risks to the site Engineer to help the project team maintain zero Loss Time Incidents (LTIs).
• Ensure that 100% of workers under supervision comply with the Company’s safety procedures during work hours on a daily basis.
• Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in a foreman or supervisory role within the contracting and trading industry.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence and active supervision of multiple teams and ongoing tasks throughout the workday.
