General Foreman

About the Company and Role

Al Rugaib Holding Company is seeking an experienced General Foreman to join its contracting and construction team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves overseeing subcontractor crews and ensuring the safe and efficient progression of construction works on site.

Role Overview

The General Foreman will be responsible for the daily supervision of subcontractor activities, organizing work fronts, and maintaining adherence to safety, quality, and efficiency standards. The role requires a proactive approach to site management and coordination with engineering and quality control teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise the daily activities of subcontractor crews on site.
• Distribute work fronts and ensure the availability of necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
• Monitor subcontractor manpower and productivity, reporting any shortfalls.
• Ensure that works are executed in accordance with construction drawings and site engineer instructions.
• Enforce site safety rules and maintain high standards of housekeeping.
• Prepare daily reports detailing manpower, progress, and any site-related issues.
• Coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC personnel to prepare works for inspection.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 10 years of site supervision experience in building construction.
• Strong practical knowledge of structural, masonry, and finishing works.
• Proven experience in supervising subcontractor labor and organizing multiple work fronts simultaneously.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings.
• Knowledge of standard site safety practices.
• Good communication skills in Arabic are required; English is an advantage.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves direct site supervision within the contracting and construction industry.
