About the Server Role at Marriott International

Marriott International is seeking a Server to join its team. This full-time role focuses on providing a memorable and unique dining experience for guests, extending beyond basic food and beverage service. The Server will be responsible for delivering a range of services to ensure guest satisfaction during their meal.

Key Responsibilities

• Set tables according to established standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding orders and guest needs.
• Interact with and serve guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Clean work areas and maintain supplies.
• Manage the menu, including reading and visually verifying information.
• Ensure a safe workplace, adhere to company policies and procedures, and uphold quality standards.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style.

Physical Demands of the Role

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Less than one year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification is required for this position.
