Waiter

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Waiter to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position focuses on providing memorable guest experiences through efficient food and beverage service. The role involves supporting overall dining operations to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Duties

• Setting tables according to established standards.
• Assisting kitchen staff as needed to support food preparation and service.
• Cleaning work areas to maintain hygiene and operational standards.
• Replenishing supplies to ensure continuous service.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintaining high quality standards in all aspects of service.
• Presenting a professional appearance, including uniform, personal grooming, and communication.
• Performing physical tasks such as standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving over various surfaces.
• Managing menu information, including reading and visually verifying details.
• Handling objects by moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. This includes reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Executing other reasonable job duties as requested by management.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• 0-1 years of related work experience. Previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No specific license or certification is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Waiter will contribute to a dynamic hospitality environment focused on guest satisfaction.
