Site Manager Electrical (OHTL)

About the Role

L & T Case Equipment Private Limited is seeking a Site Manager Electrical (OHTL) to lead and manage electrical construction activities for 380kV Transmission Line (TL) projects. This full-time role requires a professional with extensive experience in the field, focusing on overall execution, site coordination, and adherence to project standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction activities for 380kV TL projects.
• Plan and monitor site execution, including manpower, materials, equipment, and daily progress.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all works comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
• Supervise construction, installation, and all other TL-related activities.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Review drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other technical documents prior to execution.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and timely completion of their scope.
• Coordinate with Civil, Protection & Control, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Procurement teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper closure of technical and construction issues.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and management.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and strive for zero-incident project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree (********* in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Transmission Line (TL) projects, including specific experience with 380kV TL.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
• Proven hands-on experience with SEC projects and SEC construction standards.
• Must possess valid SEC approval (Client Approval).
• Strong knowledge of TL execution techniques.

Required Skills

• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage subcontractors effectively.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with various stakeholders.

SEC-Specific Requirements

• Experience working on SEC-approved 380kV TL projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with SEC General Specifications (SGS), SEC Safety Regulations, and SEC project execution procedures.
• Ability to coordinate directly with SEC Project Management and Construction Supervision teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely project completion in line with SEC standards and overall project requirements, maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process.
