The Role of Speech Language Pathologist

The Dr. Salwa Assiri Center For Special Education Support Services and Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join its team. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Eastern, Saudi Arabia. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders for both children and adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults with special needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based methods.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and other rehabilitation professionals to support functional communication and swallowing safety.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary case discussions.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and program improvement initiatives.

Work Environment
