Sr. Technical Professional Pipeline

About the Role

كيلوج براون اند روت is seeking a Sr. Technical Professional-Pipeline to join their team. This full-time role involves comprehensive responsibilities related to pipeline engineering, from initial study and design to installation techniques and ongoing support. The successful candidate will operate under general supervision, applying independent judgment to solve complex engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct studies, design, and specification for pipelines, including route selection and layout.
• Perform field surveys and material selection, including coating systems and cathodic protection.
• Address aspects related to leak detection, valves, terminal and pump stations, and installation techniques.
• Devise new approaches to problems encountered in the functional area.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation, selection, and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
• Perform work involving conventional engineering practice, which may include complex features such as conflicting design requirements or unsuitability of conventional materials.
• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Lead a functional area on small projects or segments of larger projects, including planning, budgeting, organizing, coordinating, and controlling project activities.
• Be responsible for employee performance appraisals and for coaching and developing lower-level professionals when acting as a lead.

Qualifications and Experience

• An undergraduate degree in Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of related experience is necessary, with average experience typically ranging from 6-10 years.
• Requires sufficient professional experience to demonstrate competence as a fully trained professional.
• Possession of broad knowledge of precedents within the field.
• Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
