About the Role

Le Meridien is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Medina. This full-time position involves managing merchandise, maintaining inventory, and ensuring adherence to operational standards. The role is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for placement.
• Deliver merchandise to the correct departments and stack received items on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and notify management of low stock levels promptly.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and rotate stock to ensure freshness.
• Inspect deliveries and date items to verify freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality.
• Refuse acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies and procedures across all food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications as required.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Communicate with guests and co-workers using clear, appropriate, and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
