Storekeeper

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Storekeeper to join their team in Medina. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to maintaining efficient inventory operations and upholding high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, ensuring proper marking for placement and timely delivery.
• Stack received merchandise efficiently on pallets or carts.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies, and promptly notify management of low stock levels.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly, and implement stock rotation procedures.
• Inspect deliveries, verifying freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality of items, and refuse damaged or incorrect goods.
• Adhere to all food safety and handling policies and procedures in food-related areas.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in designated storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management, and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Communicate professionally with guests and co-workers, fostering positive working relationships and supporting team goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats, including small print.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Aptitude to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Ability to navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps.
