Storekeeper

About the Role

Mayar Foods is seeking a Storekeeper to manage inventory, maintain store operations, and supervise activities within its facilities. This full-time position is based in the Eastern region of Saudi Arabia and requires 0-1 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Storekeeper is responsible for overseeing all material movements to and from warehouses, ensuring efficient and safe handling to minimize damage. The role involves regular inspections and managing daily collections from sales representatives, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the store for incoming stock, adhering to standard operating procedures for space management.
• Supervise loaders and laborers, coordinating with logistics for the dispatch of customer orders.
• Ensure the hygiene of trucks and proper loading of goods, including visual inspection for potential issues like leakage, especially during monsoon seasons.
• Oversee the off-loading of stock, reviewing goods for damages or shortages, and reporting any issues to the Warehouse Manager or Logistics Supervisor.
• Receive damaged and returned goods, assess their condition, and obtain necessary approvals before acceptance.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions or work practices within the store environment.
• Ensure safe and timely loading and unloading operations, verifying goods against a checklist.
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts, complete counting sheets, reconcile variances in SKUs, and update records accordingly.
• Verify and maintain appropriate stock arrangement within the store.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in a storekeeping or related role.
• Ability to manage inventory and supervise store activities effectively.
• Familiarity with material handling procedures and safety protocols.
