About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Supervisor Housekeeping to join its team in the Red Sea region. This full-time role involves inspecting guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning to ensure adherence to quality standards. The Supervisor will assist the Housekeeping Department in managing daily activities and act as a liaison for coordinating efforts with Engineering, the Front Office, and Laundry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare room availability reports, verify room status, identify discrepancies in room availability, prioritize room cleaning, and update the status of departing guest rooms.
• Document and resolve room discrepancy issues with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes made to assignment sheets or work boards.
• Communicate all relevant issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure that both uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional.
• Maintain the privacy of company proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Support the team in achieving common goals.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements and Abilities

• Move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, running, walking, jogging).
• Read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (*, to identify defects).
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good eye-hand coordination.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting the waist, pulling, and stooping.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
• Ascend and descend stairs and/or service ramps.
• Continuously use manual dexterity and motor skills, frequently employing both hands and fine motor functions.
• Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing 55 pounds (** Kg) or less without assistance, and more than 55 pounds (** Kg) with assistance.
• Ability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods or frequently throughout the entire work shift.
• Listen and respond appropriately to other employees' concerns.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
