Treasury Officer

About the Role

UrbaCon Contracting & Trading Company is seeking a Treasury Officer to manage daily treasury operations. This full-time role involves maintaining and monitoring bank-related treasury activities, ensuring compliance, and supporting banking deliverables. The Treasury Officer will manage financial aspects related to the organization's liquidity, cash flow, and financial investments, with a primary focus on optimizing financial resources, ensuring liquidity, and mitigating financial risks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily updates of the bank position report.
• Perform bank reconciliations against the General Ledger (GL) and reconcile assigned clearing accounts.
• Ensure the timely creation of journals for bank account transactions.
• Prepare bank exposure and facility utilization reports.
• Handle confidential documents and sensitive data, including screening data, financial records, banking, compliance information, and Know Your Client (KYC) materials.
• Review all payments, transfer orders, and cheques to ensure compliance with established standards and processes.
• Prepare various other journal entries into the system.
• Ensure all screening record-keeping is up-to-date and securely stored in accordance with data protection laws.
• Track account schedules such as prepayments, loans, and amortization.
• Liaise proactively with bank representatives on all banking matters and provide guidance on solutions.
• Ensure all work areas are documented and align with organizational due diligence processes.
• Support the implementation of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of working experience.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in treasury operations.
• 2 years of experience in the GCC region is considered a plus.
