The Role of Warehouse Coordinator

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to join its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth warehouse operations within a large volume manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing stock control, optimizing inventory processes, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels and reorder products as necessary.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels in the system.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and forecast future stock requirements.
• Generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory performance.
• Provide insights to management regarding inventory issues and recommendations for improvement.
• Oversee the receiving of incoming stock and ensure it is properly logged and stored.
• Coordinate the distribution of stock to various departments or locations as required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during the handling of inventory.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Identify and resolve inventory-related issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize stock availability.
• Work closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth inventory operations.
• Train and supervise staff on inventory management procedures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations regarding inventory management.
• Maintain accurate documentation for auditing purposes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant inventory or warehouse coordination role.
• Demonstrated experience working effectively with customers in a large volume manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in a third language is required.
