We are seeking a qualified and motivated Saudi EHS Officer with valid SEC approval to play a crucial role in implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies across project sites. As a Safety Officer, you will ensure compliance with company and regulatory safety standards while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess workplace safety hazards.
  • Implement and monitor project safety procedures.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Support project teams in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Prepare safety reports and attend project meetings.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Safety or any related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in EHS or related field.
  • NEBOSH certification is required.
  • ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 knowledge or Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
  • SEC approval is a plus.
  • Saudi nationality is a must.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Good knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and safe work practices.
  • Experience in risk assessment, audits, and incident prevention.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple site activities effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and EHS reporting systems.

Join Total Safety as a Safety Technician!
As a leader in integrated safety and compliance services, Total Safety is dedicated to providing essential products and services that ensure safety in various industries, including oil and gas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Fixed Gas Detectors in fertilizer and chemical plants.
  • Schedule and plan maintenance activities at least one month in advance for effective planning.
  • Conduct functionality checks on gas detectors and repair any identified issues.
  • Generate detailed reports during maintenance activities and issue corresponding certificates.
  • Regularly conduct toolbox meetings with the team to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
  • Provide daily updates on maintenance progress to clients.
  • Inspect control rooms daily and report any findings to supervisors.
  • Ensure compliance with plant checklists, SMPs, and OEM manuals.
  • Respond to emergency calls and attend training related to work permit procedures.
  • Install, test, and commission new gas detectors as needed.
  • Adhere to any other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:
  • Good command of the English language and writing skills.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the upstream or downstream Oil & Gas industry, preferably with fixed gas detection systems.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capability to work in remote areas and understand gas detection technical manuals.
  • Experience with devices such as Drager-7000, Honeywell series, and Detcon DM 700 Series.
