About the Role

Grand Hyatt Al Khobar is seeking a Commis Chef to join their culinary team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-quality food service environment within a leading hospitality establishment.

Role Overview

The Commis Chef will be responsible for preparing consistent, high-quality food products. This role requires adherence to professional, efficient, and flexible service standards that align with the outlet’s operating concept and Hyatt International standards. The primary focus is on contributing to the overall culinary excellence of the establishment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented in a consistent and high-quality manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Assist senior chefs with various culinary tasks as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Commis Chef, or 2 years as an Apprentice, in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
  • Possession of basic culinary skills.
  • Knowledge of good hygiene practices in a food service environment.
