About the Commis Chef Role at Grand Hyatt

Grand Hyatt is seeking a Commis Chef to join its culinary team in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic kitchen environment. The role focuses on preparing high-quality food products and supporting the operational standards of the outlet.

Role Overview and Objectives

The primary objective of the Commis Chef is to consistently prepare food products to a high standard. This involves working within the kitchen team to ensure all culinary preparations meet the established quality and presentation guidelines. The role also requires maintaining a courteous, professional, and efficient service that aligns with the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare a consistent, high-quality food product.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Commis Chef.
  • Alternatively, 2 years of experience as an Apprentice in a hotel or restaurant with good standards.
  • Possession of basic culinary skills.
  • Good knowledge of hygiene practices.

Work Environment and Location
