About the Role

Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts is seeking an Executive Sales professional to join our team in Al Khobar, Eastern region. This full-time position is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to delivering exceptional guest services, supporting sales initiatives, and maintaining the high standards of our brand.

Role Overview

The Executive Sales professional plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and marketing functions of Le Méridien Hotels & Resorts. This position involves direct engagement with guests to manage reservations, address inquiries, and resolve issues, all while employing sales techniques to enhance revenue and foster guest loyalty. The role also encompasses administrative support and ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.

Core Responsibilities

Contact appropriate individuals or departments (*, Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as necessary to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
Utilize sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling.
Determine and provide complimentaries to guests as gifts for their patronage (*, rewards points, show tickets, gift certificates).
Promote awareness of the brand image internally and externally.
Process requests for redeeming Marriott Rewards points.
Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
Enter Marriott Rewards information into appropriate software when taking guest reservations.
Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns.
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.

Operational Support and Compliance

Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (*, filing, sending emails, typing, faxing).
Assist management in training and motivating employees; serve as a role model.
Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
Monitor the performance of others to ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

0-1 years of experience in a sales, guest services, or administrative support role.
Demonstrated ability to apply sales techniques and maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
Proficiency in processing reservations, changes, and cancellations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with professional telephone etiquette.
Capability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and support team goals.
Adherence to company policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards.
