About the Role

EY is seeking to hire Senior External Auditors to join its Audit team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is based in Al Khobar. The role involves supporting clients by accurately reporting on financial statements and providing insights into accounting and reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in audit engagements as a member of the Audit team.
• Work effectively within a team, sharing responsibility and providing support.
• Maintain communication and update senior team members on engagement progress.
• Assist in preparing for and participating in meetings with client management teams.
• Help prepare reports and schedules for clients and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
• Establish internal and external relationships.
• Identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY.
• Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining assurance professionals.
• Anticipate and identify risks, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Ensure the quality of work delivered to clients and that it is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong academic record, including a degree. A minimum of four years of professional experience in external audit is required. Ideally, candidates will also have a degree or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA, and experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
