The Role: Senior Project Planner

Worley Parsons is seeking a Senior Project Planner to join its team in Al Khobar. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves applying advanced planning and scheduling techniques to complex projects within the oil and gas industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring project efficiency and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and adhere to TW HSE procedures to ensure safety in the workplace.
• Apply TW procedures forming the Quality Management System.
• Provide cost-effective planning services within assigned budget constraints.
• Act as a focal point for recommending training and development for subordinate planning personnel.
• Demonstrate high-level planning skills for Oil & Gas industry Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management (EPC&PM) modification and maintenance projects using computer-based techniques.
• Exhibit Primavera Project Planning software operating expertise and singular major project planning skills.
• Ensure Quality Assurance by working within the provisions and guidelines of the relevant Business Unit's Quality Assurance system.
• Maintain personal safety and safe working practices for the Business Unit, understanding and following OH&S procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with others (verbally, written, and in meetings).
• Ability to apply Critical Path Method (CPM) planning techniques to develop detailed engineering and installation project networks and schedules.
• Experience with computer-based Project Management Planning, especially utilizing Primavera P3 package or equivalent.
• Proficiency in applying Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to measure, status, and monitor performance.
• Familiarity with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) approach to project management techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate, mediate, and delegate, as well as lead a team or participate as a team member.
• Understanding and application of the TW Quality Management System.
• Awareness and compliance with safe workplace practices and duty of care.
