Chief Executive Officer Role

Tahatan Holding Company is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its operations. Based in Dammam, Eastern region, this full-time role is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and performance of the Group and its subsidiaries. The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors and is accountable for translating the Group’s strategic vision into sustainable business growth, profitability, operational excellence, and long-term shareholder value.

About Tahatan Holding Company

Tahatan Holding Company operates primarily in two key sectors: heavy equipment rental, which includes the provision of equipment operators and skilled manpower, and environmental services, covering the transportation, handling, and management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. The Group currently employs approximately 300 individuals across its operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Group’s strategic vision, long-term objectives, and business plans in alignment with the Board of Directors.
  • Provide overall executive leadership and oversight across the Group and its subsidiaries, ensuring strategic alignment and performance.
  • Assume overall accountability for the Group’s financial and operational performance, including revenue growth, profitability, cash flow, and cost efficiency.
  • Lead the annual business planning and budgeting process, ensuring effective monitoring of financial, operational, and strategic performance against targets.
  • Drive sustainable growth by strengthening existing businesses, improving operational performance, and identifying new business and investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate major investments, capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives, submitting recommendations to the Board as required.
  • Lead business development efforts and strengthen strategic relationships with key clients, government entities, and financial institutions.
  • Ensure operational excellence across the Group, with emphasis on service quality, asset utilization, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Promote and maintain strong health, safety, environmental, and operational standards appropriate to the Group’s activities.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, corporate governance requirements, and internal controls.
  • Establish and oversee effective enterprise risk management, internal control, crisis management, and business continuity frameworks.
  • Lead organizational transformation, digitalization, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives across the Group.
  • Build an effective organizational structure and ensure the Group has the leadership, capabilities, systems, and resources required for its strategic objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, lead, and evaluate the executive management team, promoting accountability, collaboration, and a high-performance culture.
  • Establish clear performance expectations for subsidiary and functional leaders and hold management accountable for agreed outcomes.
  • Provide the Board of Directors with timely, accurate, and transparent reporting on the Group’s performance, strategic priorities, and material business developments.
  • Implement Board resolutions and ensure effective follow-through on approved strategic and corporate initiatives.
  • Represent the Group at the highest level with major clients, government authorities, strategic partners, and investors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline. An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive professional experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role with significant responsibility for business performance.
  • Proven executive leadership experience in one or more of the following sectors: heavy equipment rental, logistics, contracting, environmental services, or waste management.
  • Demonstrated track record of managing complex operations and delivering measurable improvements in growth, profitability, operational efficiency, and organizational performance.

Essential Skills and Attributes

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with proven experience in business planning, budgeting, financial management, and investment evaluation.
  • Proven ability to lead business development, negotiate major commercial arrangements, and develop long-term strategic relationships.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance, and organizational controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational transformation, build high-performing leadership teams, and manage change in growing or diversified organizations.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, negotiation, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern region. The role requires a leader capable of overseeing a diverse group of businesses and a workforce of approximately 300 employees, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.
