About the Logistics Team Leader Role

Arla Foods is seeking a Logistics Team Leader to join their team in Dammam. This full-time position requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in logistics and warehousing operations. The role focuses on ensuring efficient warehouse procedures, accurate inventory management, and timely delivery of goods while upholding Arla's culture and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to all warehouse standard operating procedures (SOPs), including inbound and outbound processes, warehouse operations, and inventory management.
• Prepare and execute daily operational plans accurately within defined parameters.
• Oversee inventory, manage goods handling, and maintain accurate warehouse records to ensure effective stock control, proper storage, and timely distribution.
• Coordinate with planners, sales, and commercial operations teams to ensure timely order delivery and understand customer needs.
• Ensure accurate preparation and provision of all necessary delivery documentation to drivers, including route plans, delivery notes, invoices, RTV documents, Bayan, and Ajeer documents.
• Receive documentation and address any complaints or inquiries related to sales.
• Ensure the department complies with Arla Foods' standards, policies, and local applicable laws.
• Maintain a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment with a strong safety mindset.
• Uphold quality and food safety standards within the area of responsibility.
• Manage the maintenance of the warehouse, machinery, material handling equipment, and trucks.
• Embrace Arla’s sustainability practices within the role.
• Engage with digital transformation initiatives and utilize data for decision-making.
• Facilitate the competency development of the team through enablement and coaching, aligning with Arla's leadership principles and character.
• Participate in learning and development activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Skilled education in logistics, warehousing, or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in handling goods, with a preference for food products.
• Basic understanding of machinery, equipment, and fleet used in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to coordinate with relevant functions for timely maintenance of material handling equipment.

Required Skills and Competencies

• English language proficiency at an intermediate level.
• IT skills at an intermediate level.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, Outlook).
• Basic knowledge of Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of AI.
• Intermediate proficiency in SAP Applications (EWM, ERP (ECC), BW Report, RFUI).
