About the OTR Supervisor Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Full-time OTR Supervisor to join our operations in Dammam. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on the supervision and optimization of Outbound Transportation (OTR) processes within our delivery stations.

Role Overview and Operational Focus

The OTR Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of products from our delivery stations to customers. This position involves leading operational teams, maintaining high standards of process quality, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of logistics operations. The supervisor will oversee various aspects of outbound delivery, ensuring compliance and effective problem-solving.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the team, promoting established Health and Safety standards.
• Lead cross-functional teams to address and resolve operational challenges.
• Uphold high standards of process quality and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline operational processes, sharing best practices with colleagues.
• Manage OTR metrics by overseeing on-ground processes and ensuring compliance.
• Lead and conduct safety audits for station vehicles.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for external contractors.
• Analyze OTR metric challenges and collaborate with Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and stakeholders to provide solutions.
• Manage incentive programs and conduct uniform auditing and inventory checks.
• Handle daily operational communications with DSP Points of Contact (POCs) and escalate issues to owners as needed.
• Address daily callouts related to DSP Delivery Associates (DAs).
• Arrange and follow up on DAY0 attendance.
• Work to enhance the experience for DSPs and DAs.
• Streamline feedback from DSPs to facilitate process improvements and solutions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of relevant work experience.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, shift, or work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week, with overtime as required.
• Capable of lifting up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
