About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

About the Job
Josoor Contracting Company is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Autocad Drafter to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing, reviewing, and updating architectural and electromechanical drawings in accordance with project requirements and design standards.

Job Purpose:
The General Engineering Draftsman will be responsible for close coordination with engineers and project teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and understand various engineering drawings (architectural and electromechanical) and draft sketches.
• Prepare architectural, electromechanical, and execution drawings based on draft sketches and designer instructions.
• Develop accurate and detailed quantity take-offs and finishing estimates in both Arabic and English, based on engineering drawings.
• Ensure all drawings and documents comply with project specifications and company standards.
• Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and related project documentation.
• Demonstrate full proficiency in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) for preparing and editing technical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation and reporting tasks.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate technical information clearly in both Arabic and English.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.
• Practical experience in architectural, electromechanical, and engineering drafting.
• Strong understanding of design principles, construction details, and material specifications.
• High attention to detail and accuracy with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).
