About the Company:
Alkaffary Group is a leading retail group operating across multiple sectors including carpets, furniture, and home goods. The group is undergoing strong digital transformation, with brands like Segadty Highpoint alkaffary carpets. We operate through platforms such as Zid and Salla, focusing on operational efficiency and data-driven decisions.

Role Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations and support the growing needs of our e-commerce business. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in online accounting systems and who understands the financial workflows of digital retail operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Analyze order profitability and product-level margins based on data from online platforms.
Review supplier invoices and e-invoices issued through the online store.
Track and validate cost of goods sold (COGS) using inventory data from Zid and Salla.
Coordinate with marketing and operations to produce financial performance reports and business insights.
Reconcile payment gateway reports (*, Tabby, Tamara, credit cards, bank transfers) with accounting records.
Ensure alignment between warehouse stock movement and financial reporting.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years accounting experience, preferably with exposure to e-commerce.
Familiarity with platforms such as Zid, Salla, and Daftra is highly preferred.
Solid understanding of online order cycles and digital retail operations.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate actionable financial insights.
Working knowledge of Saudi e-invoicing regulations and VAT compliance.

Nice to Have:

Experience with marketplaces like Amazon or Noon online store website.
Understanding of promotional accounting, vendor agreements, and marketing-driven discounts.

Location: Riyadh - KSA
Type: Full-time

Role: The Accountant will support the finance team by performing basic accounting and administrative tasks. This role is essential in ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions, timely reconciliations, and assisting with routine reporting, in compliance with Abyat’s financial policies and Saudi regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
Support in preparing journal entries and general ledger postings.
Reconcile bank statements and vendor accounts regularly.
Help in processing accounts payable and receivable transactions.
Organize and maintain financial documentation and records.
Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of financial reports.
Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and policies.
Coordinate with other departments to gather necessary documentation.
Support VAT filing and documentation under Saudi tax laws.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Supervisor.
