About the Role

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Director of Housekeeping to oversee all housekeeping operations at its Riyadh location. This full-time role involves ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, presentation, and safety throughout the hotel, leading the Housekeeping team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences in line with Four Seasons standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all Housekeeping operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, comfort, and maintenance across guest rooms, suites, public areas, and other hotel spaces.
Develop and implement departmental strategies, operating procedures, and service standards consistent with Four Seasons policies.
Lead, manage, and develop the Housekeeping team, including recruitment, training, performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement.
Establish departmental objectives and performance indicators to monitor productivity, service quality, and guest satisfaction.
Manage the Housekeeping department's annual budget, monitor operating expenses, and control costs while maintaining service quality.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and efficient scheduling to meet operational demands.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure compliance with Four Seasons standards.
Collaborate with other departments such as Front Office, Engineering, and Security to ensure smooth daily operations.
Monitor guest feedback, address complaints, and implement corrective actions to enhance the guest experience.
Manage inventory and control of housekeeping supplies, cleaning materials, linen, and equipment.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, environmental, and chemical-handling regulations.
Oversee preventive maintenance and deep-cleaning schedules in coordination with Engineering.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for service delivery and operational processes.
Maintain effective communication with hotel leadership and department heads.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professional development within the department.
Identify training needs and ensure team members receive appropriate training.
Ensure all operations are conducted with discretion and respect for guest privacy.
Support sustainability initiatives through efficient resource use.
Prepare and present departmental reports, budget reviews, and performance analyses.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience in housekeeping operations, with a focus on luxury hotel standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team.
Strong understanding of budget management and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
