About the Role
Sheraton Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a candidate with 2-5 years of experience in human resources. The role involves supporting various HR functions, ensuring compliance, and assisting with employee relations and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
The Human Resources Supervisor will be responsible for assisting in the monitoring and tracking of employee relations issues, including their resolution and follow-up. This role supports management and the leadership team in addressing Human Resources matters. Key duties include monitoring hiring and recruitment processes to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies, and informing Human Resources management of any employee relations concerns. The supervisor will also respond to employee and management inquiries regarding company and HR programs, policies, and guidelines, and disseminate information related to employer-employee relations, employee activities, and personnel policies.
Additionally, the role involves reviewing and ensuring the accurate maintenance of all employee records and files, such as interview documents and I-9 forms. The supervisor will also assist with the logistics, administration, and scheduling of annual employee surveys, and handle incoming phone calls and message recording.
Employee Support and Management Assistance
This position assists management with various employee lifecycle processes, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching. Adherence to all company and safety/security policies and procedures is mandatory, with a requirement to report any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions. Maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information is essential. The role also requires welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, communicating clearly and professionally, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also key aspects of this role. The ability to enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems is necessary. Physical requirements include the ability to move, lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable job duties may be assigned by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess a high school diploma or *** equivalent. A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is required, along with at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
