About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Head of Retail System and Change Management to lead the retail banking systems and change management function. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of technology and operational change initiatives that support the Consumer Banking strategy. The role ensures that system enhancements, platform upgrades, and business process changes are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and manage the Consumer Banking systems roadmap in coordination with IT, Digital, and business units.
• Oversee the delivery of core banking system enhancements, digital platform upgrades, and channel integration projects.
• Ensure retail systems are stable, scalable, and aligned with the bank's technology architecture.
• Lead structured change management for major retail transformation initiatives, including business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning.
• Ensure all retail change programs follow governance frameworks, with clear milestones, risks, and issue management.
• Work with HR and Training teams on change readiness and staff capability building.
• Act as the primary interface between Consumer Banking, IT, Operations, and external technology vendors.
• Manage relationships with system vendors and integration partners.
• Present program status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and governance committees.
• Lead and develop the retail systems and change management team.
• Build capability in project management, business analysis, and change delivery within the team.
• Prepare departmental reports for Riyad Bank timely and accurately to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Represent the function and actively contribute to various committees/meetings (internal and external) as applicable and per authority levels to ensure relevant matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Experience

• Academic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or PMP/Prince2 certification is preferred.
• Minimum Experience: 10+ years in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior change management, programs delivery, or technology leadership role in retail banking.
