TawanTech is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This is a full-time position focused on developing and maintaining critical banking applications. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience within the banking industry and contribute to delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Role Overview

The Java Developer will play a key role in the development lifecycle, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. This position is central to enhancing our enterprise-grade banking solutions, ensuring they meet stringent industry standards for security, performance, and compliance. The role requires a hands-on approach to application design, development, and optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications, primarily utilizing the Quarkus framework.
• Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices specifically for banking applications.
• Integrate applications with core banking systems and various third-party services.
• Participate actively in system design, conduct code reviews, and contribute to testing, debugging, and performance optimization efforts.
• Ensure all developed applications comply with banking security, regulatory, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Provide support for application deployment, ongoing maintenance, and resolution of production issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
• Proven and demonstrable experience within the banking industry is essential.
• Proficiency in Java development, including experience with frameworks such as Quarkus.
• Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of system integration principles and experience with core banking systems.
• Familiarity with banking security protocols, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in our Riyadh office. The role involves working within a dynamic technical team focused on delivering robust solutions for the financial sector.
