About the Role

RAWAJ is seeking a Procurement Officer - Furniture to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes within the furniture industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing high-quality furniture, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely project delivery while adhering to budget and Saudi market regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international furniture manufacturers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Build and maintain a robust Approved Vendor List (AVL) tailored to the KSA market.
Review Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical specifications, and project drawings to prepare Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and Tenders.
Conduct commercial and technical evaluations to prepare detailed price comparison sheets.
Negotiate optimal pricing, payment terms, warranties, and delivery schedules to maximize cost savings.
Oversee shipping, customs clearance, and supply chain logistics for imported furniture.
Ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations, including registration and certification via the SABER platform and SASO standards.
Coordinate sample approval processes (Mock-ups) with designers and client representatives.
Track purchase orders from production to site delivery, ensuring zero disruption to project timelines.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within the furniture industry or a related field. This experience should include managing complex procurement processes and vendor relationships.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active participation in the local market and compliance with regional regulations.
