About the Role
EY's Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) practice is experiencing significant growth, leading to a need for a Senior professional to join our team in Riyadh. This role will support accounting advisory services for projects within both the public and private sectors.
Role Context and Responsibilities
In this position, you will engage directly with a diverse range of clients across various industries. Your work will involve assessing the impact of new accounting standards, proposed transactions, and other regulatory changes. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development and review of policies, procedures, frameworks, and governance documents.
- Conducting current-state assessments, gap analyses, and benchmarking exercises.
- Assisting in the design and implementation of operating models, governance structures, and organizational processes.
- Managing project plans, tracking deliverables, and coordinating stakeholder engagement.
- Preparing high-quality presentations, reports, and executive-level materials.
- Facilitating workshops, meetings, and discussions with client stakeholders.
- Supporting performance management initiatives, including KPI development and monitoring.
- Coordinating with multiple workstreams to ensure timely project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in consulting, advisory, PMO, organizational development, or transformation projects.
- Experience working with government, semi-government, or large corporate organizations is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Public Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, or similar are considered an advantage.
Required Skills and Attributes
Successful candidates will demonstrate pro-activity, accountability, and a results-driven approach. Key skills include the ability to manage competing priorities, effective resource management, and strong communication abilities. Specific skills required for this role include:
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience in policy and procedure development and documentation.
- Excellent proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and report writing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage workstreams independently with limited supervision.
- Experience in developing executive-level presentations and reports.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language proficiency is preferred.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires individuals who are business-savvy, possess a passion for innovation, and have the confidence to contribute to strategic vision development.
