About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre is seeking an Ambulatory Care Representative I to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and focuses on ensuring efficient patient access and administrative processes within the hospital's ambulatory care services.

Key Responsibilities

The Ambulatory Care Representative I plays a crucial role in patient flow and administrative support. Key duties include:

• Greeting and directing patients, employees, and visitors, providing necessary information and directions.
• Gathering essential information from callers and directing their concerns to the appropriate departments.
• Opening new patient medical records.
• Reviewing and responding to correspondence related to treatment eligibility.
• Assisting patients and families with medical referral paperwork and explaining the KFSH&RC Eligibility policy.
• Performing appointment scheduling and admission functions.
• Processing financial letters from various sources, including Royal Families, Royal Cabinet, companies, General Medical Committees, and embassies.
• Registering and confirming patient visits using the computer system and managing patient check-in procedures.
• Handling walk-in patients and initiating necessary actions.
• Retrieving patient information from the system as required.
• Verifying patient eligibility for referred specialties.
• Coordinating with other hospital staff to schedule appointments efficiently, ensuring proximity for services like X-ray or Endoscopy.
• Participating in the orientation of new employees as needed.
• Adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Engaging in self and peer education, training, and development activities.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital Administration or a related discipline is required.
• One (1) year of related experience is required for candidates with a Bachelor’s Degree, or three (3) years of experience for candidates with an IPA Diploma.
• Only Saudi Nationals will be considered for this position.
