Project Context

Mace is providing strategic project management consultancy for significant new build stadiums, multiple stadium redevelopments, and wider precinct transformations in Riyadh. The scope includes the delivery of new stadiums, increasing existing stadium capacity, developing major mixed-use amenities, and implementing robust knowledge transfer to ensure operational excellence and long-term sustainability beyond the construction phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical services and external resources for projects.
• Deliver project objectives in line with established plans and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Manage tasks and provide support to senior managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
• Oversee the procurement process for consultants and contractors.
• Maintain quality systems and ensure compliance with Mace's established standards and procedures.
• Document and manage project changes and handover requirements.
• Drive sustainability and net zero carbon goals throughout project delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree qualification in a relevant subject is essential.
• A minimum of 6 years of postgraduate professional experience is required.
• Experience in stadiums, events, or sports venues is considered an advantage.
• Chartered or professional memberships are considered an advantage.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within Mace's project management consultancy framework, focusing on large-scale sports and entertainment infrastructure development.
