About the Business Analyst Role

Yamama Cement is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join the Organizational Excellence team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional dedicated to translating business needs into effective functional solutions, analyzing data, and driving digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

Core Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to support business objectives and digital advancements. Key duties include:

• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements to ensure clear understanding and scope definition.
• Developing functional specifications and providing support for solution design processes.
• Analyzing business and operational data using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Creating comprehensive dashboards and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
• Collaborating effectively with business stakeholders and IT teams to implement digital solutions.
• Supporting system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and validating deployed solutions.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency.
• Ensuring all initiatives align with business strategy, data governance policies, and cybersecurity standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience to be considered for this role:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field. An MBA is preferred.
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Digital Transformation roles.
• Demonstrated strong experience in requirements gathering and business process analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SQL, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of software architecture, system integration principles, and data governance best practices.
• Experience within the Manufacturing, Cement, or Heavy Industry sectors is preferred.
