About Averda and the Role

Averda is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to driving business growth by identifying new opportunities and engaging with clients in the waste management sector.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver tailored waste management solutions through effective negotiations, quotation development, and deal closure. The Business Development Manager will also support market expansion initiatives, provide team leadership, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop market and client relationships with key stakeholders to enhance market penetration and growth potential.
• Identify, originate, and capture revenue growth opportunities.
• Develop sales frameworks and marketing campaigns to support sales growth and customer retention.
• Target and identify customer bases to develop into significant revenue generation and growth of market share.
• Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
• Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
• Develop business relationships that lead to clear growth opportunities.
• People Management.
• Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) oversight.
• Risk management.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in business development or a related field, demonstrating a proven track record in sales and client engagement.
