About the Business Development Manager Role

Iron Mountain is seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join its Commercial Sales team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and expanding market share within target industries. The position offers the chance to contribute to Iron Mountain's growth while developing skills within a supportive culture.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle for new business, from initial lead generation and qualification through negotiation and deal closure. You will engage with both Private and Public Sectors, handling both negotiated deals and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. A key aspect of the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships at the executive level, up to C-suite, to understand client objectives and serve as a trusted industry advisor. Maintaining a consistent sales pipeline and delivering accurate revenue forecasts are essential to meeting and exceeding sales quotas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the End-to-End Sales Cycle: Drive net new business opportunities from lead generation and qualification through negotiation and deal closure across both Private and Public Sectors, handling both Negotiated and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong, executive-level relationships up to the Chief Executive Officer and executive suite (C-level) to understand organizational objectives and act as a trusted industry expert.
  • Ensure Pipeline Hygiene: Maintain a consistent pipeline and deliver accurate revenue forecasting within a committed culture to consistently meet and exceed designated quota attainments.

Required Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess significant direct solution sales experience, with a specific focus on selling business services, business process outsourcing, archiving, digital transformation, and records management solutions. A proven track record in strategic new business hunting, solution selling, and delivering technology solutions into net new client accounts is required. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional abilities in stakeholder management, C-level communication, negotiation, and making broad-term business decisions that benefit the entire organization.

Essential Skills

  • Domain Expertise: Significant direct solution sales experience in business services, BPO, archiving, digital transformation, and records management.
  • Technology Sales Acumen: Proven success in strategic new business hunting and solution selling of technology solutions.
  • Professional Capabilities: Strong stakeholder management, C-level communication, negotiation, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, planning, and analytical skills to develop compelling value propositions.
