About the Role

Work Gateway is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is crucial for driving business growth and expanding the company's presence within the dynamic construction and contracting sector.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, cultivate strong client relationships, and actively support the company's strategic expansion. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing market penetration and securing new projects within the construction industry landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, tenders, and prequalification openings specifically within the construction sector.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, consultants, and key decision-makers in the industry.
• Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform and support strategic planning initiatives.
• Prepare comprehensive business proposals, engaging presentations, and detailed company profiles for prospective clients.
• Coordinate effectively with proposals and estimation teams to ensure timely and accurate bid submissions and subsequent follow-ups.
• Represent the company professionally at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.
• Maintain an updated pipeline of opportunities and provide regular reports on business development activities and progress.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in business development, preferably within the construction or contracting sector.
• Candidates must hold Saudi nationality, as required by law for this position.
