About the Business Incubator Manager Role

SEA Ventures is seeking a Business Incubator Manager to oversee the planning, development, and execution of its incubator program. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a proactive professional to manage day-to-day operations, support startup growth, build strategic partnerships, and ensure an exceptional experience for all participants. The role is central to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem and driving the incubator's overall success.

Program Development and Management

The Business Incubator Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive planning, development, and management of the incubator's programs and initiatives. This includes designing and continuously improving program structures, processes, and operational frameworks. The role involves developing and managing program schedules, including workshops, training sessions, mentorship meetings, networking events, and pitch sessions, ensuring high-quality delivery and participant satisfaction. Performance monitoring and implementation of improvements based on feedback and best practices are key aspects of this responsibility.

Startup Recruitment and Support

A core function of this role is sourcing, evaluating, recruiting, and onboarding high-potential startups. The Manager will provide hands-on advisory support to founders across various business areas, including strategy, business models, market validation, fundraising, and growth. Acting as the primary point of contact, the Manager will monitor startup progress, identify challenges, and offer practical solutions. Support will also extend to connecting startups with relevant resources, mentors, partners, and market opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement and Partnerships

Building and maintaining strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders is crucial. This includes government entities, corporates, universities, investors, mentors, and service providers. The role involves identifying and establishing strategic partnerships to enhance the incubator’s value proposition and impact. The Manager will also coordinate with external experts and represent SEA Ventures at various industry events and engagements.

Operational Oversight and Team Leadership

The Business Incubator Manager will oversee the daily operations of the incubator, ensuring smooth program execution and managing participant communications, documentation, and reporting. This includes coordinating logistics for events and activities, ensuring compliance with program policies, and supporting budgeting and resource planning. Additionally, the role involves leading, supervising, and supporting Program Associates and other team members, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative team culture.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Business Development

Developing and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for the incubator program is essential. The Manager will design and administer feedback mechanisms, analyze performance data, and maintain accurate records for reporting. This includes preparing reports and presentations on program outcomes and startup progress. The role also contributes to business development efforts, proposal development, and identifying opportunities to expand the incubator’s offerings and impact, aligning services with SEA Ventures’ broader strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in startup incubation, acceleration, entrepreneurship support, innovation, consulting, or program management. A strong understanding of startup ecosystems, venture building, and entrepreneurship is required. Excellent stakeholder management, partnership-building, and project management skills are essential. Experience in delivering workshops, mentoring founders, or managing entrepreneurial programs is highly valued. The role requires a hands-on approach, balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.
