About the Role

Outsized is seeking a Cards Product Management Specialist for a contract role in Riyadh. This position supports a Global Payments Firm engaged with a leading Bank in Saudi Arabia. The specialist will be instrumental in the strategic development, commercialization, and lifecycle management of card products, aiming to enhance customer engagement, profitability, and operational efficiency within the card business.

Role Context and Responsibilities

The Cards Product Management Specialist will drive revenue generation aligned with consumer banking strategy, encompassing more than just card launches and ongoing product management. This role requires a comprehensive approach to the entire bank value chain related to card products.

• Lead the design and rollout of innovative card products tailored to market needs.
• Define product value propositions (CVPs) and pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and compliance to ensure successful product launches.
• Support the commercialization of new products and solutions by recommending pricing, providing sales tools, and training sales teams for knowledge transfer and successful sales in partnership with acquisitions.
• Assist the client in achieving profit and growth for cards, covering revenue, credit costs, and direct/allocated costs.
• Manage product management for cards, including audit, compliance matters, and complaints support.
• Provide guidance and support to client-facing professionals and sales teams to address complex client needs through products.
• Support sales teams with training, tools, and product knowledge to drive acquisition and usage.
• Recommend promotional campaigns and tactical plans to enhance card performance.
• Monitor product performance post-rollout and help resolve product or sales issues to ensure continuous product improvement.
• Support the delivery of large client programs from initiation to benefit realization.
• Execute projects across different clients and businesses, identifying and mitigating risks, solving issues, developing plans, and ensuring implementation within agreed timescales, budgets, and quality criteria, including re-aligning scope and objectives for maximum value extraction.
• Identify new business opportunities to support clients with scheme solutions.
• Manage integration with card processing systems, switches, and vendors.
• Provide technical support for card applications and resolve operational issues.
• Ensure seamless delivery of regulatory changes and compliance adherence.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in the card payments landscape.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• A strong understanding of card payments, processing systems, and regulatory environments.
• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in product development, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Demonstrated experience with product launches, CVP development, and knowledge of SAMA regulations.
• Familiarity with the profitability and key metrics of Debit, Credit, and Prepaid cards.
• Proficiency in Arabic is mandatory.
