About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Civil Engineer, specifically for Saudi National candidates, to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position offers an opportunity to contribute to significant projects within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for a range of site-based and coordination activities to ensure successful project delivery. Key duties include:

• Coordinating and attending meetings with clients, contractors, consultants, and construction management teams to resolve technical issues.
• Reviewing site preparation and temporary works for compliance with contract requirements and approved construction documents.
• Monitoring site activities to enforce compliance with project safety, security, health, and environmental requirements.
• Tracking construction progress and supporting verification of payments and schedule performance.
• Conducting daily coordination meetings with site teams to monitor progress and identify potential delays.
• Implementing corrective actions for deviations from project plans and mitigating schedule impacts.
• Supporting the Project Manager in supervising and managing construction activities within the project scope.
• Assisting in planning and sequencing construction activities according to the Project Quality Plan.
• Conducting site inspections and evaluating subcontractor performance for compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Identifying, evaluating, and resolving construction issues that may impact quality, safety, or progress.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams for effective integration of civil works.
• Preparing and maintaining project documentation, progress reports, and site records.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience in construction, civil engineering, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and multidisciplinary interfaces.
• Good knowledge of construction site management, project delivery, and safety requirements.

Required Skills

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following skills:

• Ability to identify and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, clients, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience on rail, metro, transportation, infrastructure, or major construction projects is desired.
