About the Civil Technician Role

UCC Holding is seeking a Civil Technician for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, providing an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to begin their careers in civil infrastructure and facilities management.

Role Overview

The Civil Technician will perform a range of skilled and semi-skilled tasks focused on the inspection, maintenance, repair, and construction of civil infrastructure and facilities. This position offers crucial technical support to operations and project teams, ensuring all civil works adhere to project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of civil structures, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Support construction and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor site activities and report any structural or operational issues encountered.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental requirements on site.
• Coordinate with other departments and external contractors as needed to facilitate project execution.
• Assist in the planning and monitoring of maintenance schedules and civil work activities.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and overall project progress.
• Participate in troubleshooting site-related issues and contribute to identifying corrective actions.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and maintenance practices.
• Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and Health & Safety requirements.
• Basic problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Familiarity with basic Root Cause Analysis techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with quality standards and site inspection procedures.

Educational Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or any related technical qualification.
