The Role

Alfanar is seeking a Consolidation & Reporting Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves supporting financial consolidation and reporting across multiple entities. The specialist will ensure compliance with IFRS, maintain system accuracy, provide timely financial analysis, and contribute to audit processes and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes across various entities.
Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS requirements.
Execute intercompany reconciliations and resolve any identified discrepancies.
Maintain and update consolidation systems and tools, including Prophix.
Monitor data accuracy and system performance to ensure reliable financial reporting.
Contribute to internal management reporting and external financial disclosures.
Support variance analysis and comprehensive financial performance reporting.
Coordinate with divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission.
Communicate reporting requirements and timelines effectively across teams.
Prepare audit documentation and respond to inquiries from auditors.
Ensure alignment with audit standards and internal control procedures.
Participate in initiatives aimed at improving reporting efficiency and accuracy.
Identify areas for enhancement within consolidation and reporting workflows.

Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to schedules.
Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.

Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures within the defined work area.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting. Proficiency with consolidation systems and tools, particularly Prophix, is required. A strong understanding of IFRS requirements, financial analysis, and audit support procedures is essential. The ability to collaborate with diverse teams and contribute to process improvements is also expected.
