About the Role
Hays is seeking a Digital Solutions Business Manager with a focus on Financial Services, Banking, and B2B Solutions. This contract role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The position supports sales and business development teams in driving go-to-market initiatives within the banking and financial services sector.
Role Overview and Objectives
The primary focus of this role is to identify commercial opportunities, shape the positioning of digital, technology, and B2B business solutions, and advise on banking technology ecosystems. The Business Manager will support client engagement strategies with banks across Saudi Arabia, leveraging extensive industry knowledge to align solutions with the business, operational, and digital transformation objectives of financial institutions. This is a commercially driven role demanding a strong understanding of banking technology environments, enterprise B2B solutions, sales cycles, and digital transformation within financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales teams in identifying and developing go-to-market opportunities within banks and financial institutions in KSA.
- Identify opportunities where digital and B2B business solutions can address client challenges.
- Provide insights into banking sector priorities, technology investment trends, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Advise on market positioning and competitive differentiation within the financial services sector.
- Support the development of commercial strategies for market penetration and revenue growth.
- Advise on the commercial positioning of digital, technology, and B2B solutions for banking clients.
- Develop value propositions aligned with client business objectives and support the creation of business cases.
- Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes and commercial benefits.
- Provide guidance on the KSA banking technology ecosystem and relevant platforms.
- Share insights into banking operating models, procurement processes, and technology decision-making.
- Help structure sales opportunities and client engagement strategies, supporting account planning and pursuit planning.
- Advise on stakeholder mapping, relationship management, and executive engagement.
- Participate in customer meetings, workshops, and business discussions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. Backgrounds may include banking institutions, technology vendors serving financial institutions, B2B solution providers, or consulting firms with strong banking sector experience. Specific experience should include:
- Working with banks in KSA, particularly in technology, digital transformation, business solutions, or commercial functions.
- A strong understanding of the banking technology ecosystem from a commercial and business perspective.
- Experience driving digital transformation or technology-enabled business initiatives within financial institutions.
- Experience selling B2B technology solutions, digital platforms, managed services, cloud solutions, data solutions, cybersecurity solutions, or enterprise applications to banking clients.
- Familiarity with the sales lifecycle for technology products and digital solutions within the banking sector.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers within financial institutions.
