About the Role

Qiddiya (القدية) is seeking a Director Finance with extensive healthcare industry experience to lead the enterprise-wide revenue cycle function. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is crucial for optimizing financial performance across the Medical City ecosystem.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Finance Director will be responsible for driving revenue optimization, operational efficiency, payer strategy, and compliance. This role ensures the full integration of clinical, operational, and financial processes to maximize revenue realization and support the strategic objectives of the Medical City.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the enterprise-wide revenue cycle strategy across all Medical City assets.
  • Lead pricing strategy, service monetization, and payer mix optimization initiatives.
  • Identify and implement new revenue models, including bundled care, subscription-based services, and value-based reimbursement.
  • Establish a fully integrated, standardized revenue cycle model across hospitals, clinics, sports medicine, and wellness services.
  • Oversee patient access, eligibility verification, coding, billing, claims processing, collections, and denials management.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between clinical, administrative, and finance functions to optimize revenue capture.
  • Own revenue forecasting, budgeting inputs, and financial planning related to revenue streams.
  • Analyze performance trends, including denials, write-offs, underpayments, and collection efficiency, and present insights to executive leadership.
  • Lead payer negotiations and contract structuring in collaboration with finance and leadership.
  • Monitor payer performance, reimbursement structures, and compliance requirements, developing strategies to enhance competitive positioning.
  • Lead implementation of advanced Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) systems, automation tools, and analytics platforms.
  • Develop real-time dashboards and predictive analytics capabilities, driving continuous innovation in revenue cycle processes.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, regulatory requirements, and billing compliance.
  • Establish internal controls to mitigate financial and compliance risks, leading audit readiness and response.
  • Build and lead a high-performing revenue cycle team, developing internal capabilities in coding, billing, analytics, and payer management.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.

Performance Objectives

  • Improve revenue realization and overall collection efficiency across all services.
  • Reduce Accounts Receivable (AR) days and enhance cash flow performance.
  • Maintain denial rates below established benchmarks through effective processes.
  • Minimize revenue leakage through strong controls and audit mechanisms.
  • Enhance efficiency and turnaround time across the full revenue cycle.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a significant portion dedicated to finance leadership and revenue cycle management within the healthcare industry. Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives is essential.
