About the Director of Finance Role

Ennismore is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations for Faena Wadi Safar in the Al Wadi District of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a strategic financial leader with over 10 years of experience to oversee all financial aspects during the pre-opening phase and beyond, ensuring financial integrity and supporting the brand's vision.

Role Overview and Strategic Contribution

As the strategic steward of Faena Wadi Safar's financial health, the Director of Finance will be responsible for leading all financial operations. This role involves ensuring transparency, accuracy, and compliance while fostering commercial excellence and owner confidence. The Director of Finance will act as a key partner to the General Manager, Directors, and ownership, translating financial insights into decisions that support the brand's artistic direction, operational precision, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Faena Wadi Safar's financial strategy, aligning with operational and business objectives.
• Provide financial analysis, forecasts, and recommendations to support decision-making and long-term growth.
• Partner with ownership and leadership to define financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), targets, and success metrics.
• Lead pre-opening financial planning, including budgets, capital expenditure (CAPEX) allocations, and operational forecasting.
• Establish financial systems, procedures, and controls for compliance, accuracy, and operational readiness.
• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local regulations, and corporate standards.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi laws, tax obligations, and audit requirements.
• Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and manage financial risk.
• Partner with department heads to monitor budgets, cost centers, and operational performance.
• Drive revenue integrity, expense management, and profitability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering professional growth and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

• Senior finance leadership experience, preferably within luxury hospitality, resorts, or complex mixed-use developments.
• Proven expertise in pre-opening financial management, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of Saudi accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and commercial acumen.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with operations and leadership teams, translating financial data into actionable insights.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language proficiency is a significant advantage.
