About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Director - Project Controls to lead the project controls function for its transport infrastructure projects in Riyadh Province. This leadership position involves overseeing all project controls activities to ensure the effective management of cost, schedule, risk, and quality for transport-related developments. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex infrastructure projects aligned with Qiddiya’s vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of project control strategies tailored for transport infrastructure projects.
• Manage cost control, scheduling, risk assessment, and performance monitoring to ensure timely project delivery.
• Direct and mentor the project controls team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align project objectives and control processes.
• Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and forecasts for senior management and stakeholders.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the utilization of project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and others.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of progressive experience in project controls, specifically within transport infrastructure or related sectors.
• Proven leadership experience managing project control teams on large-scale transport or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, cost control, scheduling, and risk management principles.
• Expertise with project controls software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
• Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is highly desirable.
