About Teknikoz and the Role

Teknikoz is seeking an Enterprise Application Architect to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This contract role is central to defining and maintaining the organization's application architecture baseline, ensuring the application portfolio remains complete, current, and properly governed.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Enterprise Application Architect is to maintain the enterprise application architecture baseline. This involves ensuring the application portfolio is complete, accurate, consistently classified, and aligned with business capabilities, ownership, lifecycle status, and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The Enterprise Application Architect will be responsible for:

Maintaining the Application Portfolio Register.
Ensuring new applications, platforms, services, integrations, and retired items are accurately captured.
Maintaining application-to-business-capability mapping.
Supporting application metadata completeness, including purpose, criticality, data classification, hosting, interfaces, support model, RTO/RPO, and lifecycle status.
Maintaining application ownership and accountability records.
Running or coordinating periodic reconciliation of the application portfolio against available sources.
Ensuring obsolete or retired applications are removed from current baseline views.
Supporting evidence collection for audit and governance.
Raising gaps and initiatives where application architecture issues require remediation.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in enterprise application architecture or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of application lifecycle management and governance frameworks.

Work Arrangement

This is a contract position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Candidates should have a notice period of immediate to 30 days to facilitate a prompt start.
